Question about resting heart rate.

Those of you who are/were overweight - what was your resting heart rate when you started began your health journey. Does it drop as you become more fit and strong?

I guess we'll see. My resting heart rate is: ~65-75 right now depending on how stressed I am.0

I'm 5'7.5 and 180 lbs. My resting heart rate runs between 90-100. My heart rate is always high, has been for years.0

Mine was in the high 80's and now it's in the 50's0

Mine was in upper seventies, now usually 56-68 bpm.0

Two years ago when I weighed 190 my resting heart rate was 48, took it three days in a row before getting out of bed.0

When I quit smoking around 3 years ago it was around 80-90.
