I've been mostly lurking on here but filling in my food planner religiously.
I am a recovering alcoholic who gained a massive four stone in four short years, I've recently won my battle with booze and am back to living a healthy lifestyle and losing the weight I gained during that period.
I have managed to shed 21 lbs in three months, have a similar distance to go, but feel fabulous!
Anyway just wanted to say Hi.

Congratulations on what you have achieved. I have a great deal of admiration for those who have battled that addiction and won, I see a lot of them in my job. Personally I think that it must be harded to fight alcohol than heroin, as a person recovering from heroin can move away and find a new set of friends to make a clean break, however, alcohol is all around and even if you move, there will always be a function to go to or a celebration where alcohol is around. I know that is a simplistic way of looking at it though.0
