Good Morning everyone! I was just wondering if anyone had an idea of how to manually log Jillian Michaels No More Trouble Zones DVD? I wore my fitbit, but I don't think it tracked a lot of "steps" do to the type of workout Any opinions would be great! Like for aerobics is it low or high impact or would I log it as something else?
Thanks! :)

Before I had my HRM I think I logged Banish Fat Boost Metabolism (the closest Jillian DVD I have to NMTZ!) as either circuit training or calisthenics (vigorous).

I logged it as circuit training but I also have a HRM that told me how much I had actually burned. Before the HRM, I used mfp and it overestimated the amount I burned. HTH

I just started with my Day 1 today of JM 30 Day shred... I logged in as circuit training general. If anyone has better suggestions, please let me know :)
  • I logged it under strength training (because I read that it's more strength than cardio) AND cardio because I wanted to count my calories!

Strength doesn't give you any calculated calories on MFP. So it doesn't matter if you log it as both or not. But most people on MFP who don't have a HRM log it as circuit training, general which is under cardio.

I log it as circuit training but I reduce the time to make up for the overcalculation that MFP does. For Shred I logged as 20 minutes. For NMTZ I logged as 35 minutes.
