Why oh why???

Why is it that when you are trying to lose weight you always lose inches from the places you don't need to first???? This is not meant as a complaint, necessarily. I'm certainly happy the numbers are going in the right direction, albeit slowly but healthfully! I'm also glad my double chin has done a disappearing act! :drinker: However, I am one of those "lucky" women who gains all their weight in their tummy and does not have any hips (my waist and hips are the same size!). Well, I lost 4" of my hips in the last month and 0.25" off my waist!!!! Grrrrrrrr...... No wonder I can't keep any pants up!
