i just bought a scale, because i used to only weigh myself once every 2 weeks with my nutrionist. Oh well, I've been basically maintaining my weight since new years, and hadnt seen my doctor ever since that day. I still fit perfectly into my clothes, feel great, etc etc, but the scale i bought today says I'm like 9 lbs heavier since my last visit!! How could this be? (his was a normal scale, mine is a digital) I mean, 9 lbs is a lot, i would see the difference in my body, but everything feels PERFECT!! I did weigh myself after BF, could that be it? i mean , does it make a whole difference if you weigh yourself before BF? !! thanks

Those digital scales usually have a little button on the bottom that you have to use to "calibrate" them. Make sure you've done this. Also, it needs to be on a perfectly level surface.

Breakfast could possibly add up to 5 pounds but 9 would surprise me.

Also if you have gotten more muscle as opposed to fat you'll weight more.

IMO every scale is different. If I weight myself at home, on my digital scale, and then go to my doctors office, it tacks on a good 5 to sometimes 10 lbs. I wouldn't get too upset, especially if you feel good and your clothes are fitting good. Wait and try again 1st thing tomorrow morning before eating.

every scale is different! Don't worry about the difference. Also consider time of day and clothing as factors that can affect what the scale says.
