The best tip that i was ever given was not to tell people, every time i previously attempted to lose weight i made sure everyone was aware of the changes i was making. Now i think it works better to not tell anyone, people begin to notice changes on you and you dont expect the compliments you get. So its kind of gives you a boost and that little more motivation you need to pursaviour. BUT also people are usually jelous that you are trying to change and they will push you to eat or antagonise you with food. Well thats my experience. Hopefully you guys have some tips for me?

I agree. If people know I am dieting, they will make uneducated or unwanted comments. For example, there is a Biggest Loser competition going on at work right now, and I hear the other girls talking to each other and encouraging each other to stay on track by not eating lunch or other things that, since joining mfp, I know are not helpful. I know now that to stay on track I need to eat something small every 3 hours or so, but if I have some nuts or something they are like "Ooh you shouldnt be eating! Stay strong! You can do it!" I sorta feel like because of this site i have a huge advantage over them and I will lose more weight and not suffer as much.
