Or should I even log it? It isn't really exercise
Today I spent about 5 hours helping construct a set for my musical (Lifting, hammering, wrenchs, etc.) and 3 hours rehearsing (Dancing, singing, walking)
How do I log this? Or should I not? It was hard work.

You have to log this. If you go under calories too much, your body will go into shutdown mode and burn muscle away. The goal is to lose healthy weight....
Try logging it as construction for the set, then dancing for the other....
