Okay, so I was doing so well here on myfitnesspal...I lost 10 lbs!!! Then, I don't even know how I let it happened...I fell completely off the wagon, so to speak, and I'm so incredibly dissappointed in myself. I'm already pretty close to my calorie limits for today (my first day trying to get back on track) and I'm starving.

I am so incredibly dissappointed in myself. All that hard work to mess it up :(

  • I completely sympathize. I think that the best way to not rebound is to get a system that you can really stick with over a long period of time, without feeling like you are getting cheated out of anything. Of course we all need a splurge sometimes, but starving yourself will only make the rebound worse.

Get out and exercise, even if it is a dvd and get yourself some exercise calories. Exercise helps me feel full and you can finish your day proud of yourself instead of :(

Whenever I've fell off the wagon and got back on, the same thing happened to me that I felt like I was starving. If you go over your calories, do it with nothing but healthy food. Lots of vegetables and water. That way, even if you go over, you'll still feel better about yourself tomorrow because you won't be retaining a lot of salt and you can eat a lot of vegetables for very little calories. That's what I do anyway.

thank you everyone for the support. It really helps a lot!!! I know this will get easier and better....I just keep reminding myself of how happy I was and how good I felt about myself when I lost those 10 lbs. It will be soooooo worth it to get back to that again and further!!!

Thanks again, everyone. I'm in much better spirits now! I appreciate it :)
