Daily vs. Weekly?

I totally bombed today eating italian for dinner. Anyway, does the weekly net calories matter more or the daily calorie count? Is it ok to have a cheat day but stay under calories for the rest of the week?

    i go by weekly - its less stressful for me

    It's absolutely okay to have a cheat day/cheat meal. Get back on track tomorrow and you'll be just fine! Maintaining a calorie deficit over time is far more important than what you do on any given day.
