Redbull before a workout?

So, the past few days, I've REALLY lacked energy and really struggled with my workout (no, it isn't the amount of food I'm eating, it's *something* else), and I wondered if it would hurt to have a Red bull before my workout tomorrow? I used to drink them (twice a day) a few years ago, so I know how they react with my body - I never crash from them or anything...so anyways, this is probably a really stupid question, but I was wondering if I do drink one, will I burn that "energy" that it gives me or will I still burn calories/fat?

    Drink it 45 min before your workout. No different really than a cup of coffee when youre dragging.
