Stationary Bike Calories vs MFP Calories?

When I track my calories on MFP for exercise on the stationary bike it's always about 3x more than what the bike is telling me. Anyone know which is actually accurate? Also, is there a way to record the resistance level?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I ride my road bike on a trainer and use my heart rate monitor with a bike cadence. It is way less calories than what a stationary bike or mfp tells me. Sometimes off as much as 400 calories. Hrm is really the most accurate. I have a garmin 405cx and love it.0
