the new rules of lifting. Need help.. Confused!

Okay so after reading it I am a lil confused @ how the workouts are set up. Do I pick 2 different squats for example and stick to them thru out the entire 8 workouts for exercise A?
I want to start the workout plan on Monday bc i am getting bored with my workout @ the gym and can't seem to stick to the p90x bc I'd rather go to the gym to do my weight training. Idk...
Anyways with the alternating sets do I chose two different types of pushups? And alternate between the push up and the seated row?? I am just really confused here!!! People please explain the workouts if you've done them before or understand the book!!! I hope I didn't confuse anyone else like I've confused myself!!!

anyone seriously ppl!! I don't understand the workouts 1,2 workouts 3,4 thing. Do you do only one type of squat for the entire squat 8 exercises workout???0
