What is your ideal death?

Most people say die in their sleep (boring). Some say "die while having sex" which I find rather selfish - I mean, your partner would think they killed you.

I would want do die...
,,,.Instantly during a fiery ball of radiation when the sun explodes.

    I'll take the wimp's way out and say "in my sleep". Ideally, I'll be about 90-something, and my ticker will just stop ticking.

    I would like to die as old and as peacefully as possible. It is my belief that we get only this life, so I wish to live it as well and as long as possible.

    I am super lucky that my family are all heart grabbers. They grab the heart and go. If I am lucky I will go that way too. The real question here is have you made your peace with the great beyond?

    I want to know I'm dying. Maybe in a great big storm, in a foreign country. At sea maybe. But I definitely want a few moments of full consciousness, stark realization that this is it, then BOOM.

    Ideal death.... Surrounded by my kids and grandchildren,.. holding my wife’s hand as I slip away.


    My actual death….I don’t know.. I do some dumb ****. I (and many friends) often wonder how I made it to 40. I will be surprised (and thrilled) if fire and explosions are not involved.
