Pulling off Primal eating if family is not supportive?

Hi! I have been interested in eating Primal for a while already. I have found that I actually feel good when I skip bread and other foods Mark does not recommend. I agree with those who say that that kind of eating just comes naturally. The problems is, my family basically laughs at it, and they are not ready to take part in any of that. Does this mean that I can still try to pull it off or are my efforts doomed from the start? They think it is rubbish and not worth trying and that I should just stop eating so much (true).

The point is, I felt better than ever when I was away from home and did this for a week. Have you had any experience with it? Any advice?

Thanks in advance!

    They're right.

Any diet that consists of primarily whole, minimally processed foods, and results in a caloric deficit, will lead to fat loss and better health (especially if switching from one that was less nutrient dense).

But the arbitrary exclusion of certain foods because cavemen didn't have access to it is bull****. The only reason to exclude grains, dairy, etc from you diet is if you have a specific allergy to it. And PLEASE don't be led into buying Sisson's overpriced supplements. The man is a snake-oil salesman, nothing more.
