Do I need to tweak anything?

Hi all,
I joined mfp on 8th Jan this year & have adopted a new way of eating compared to my old way, which was binge eating very unhealthy foods, resulting in me weighing my heaviest last summer at 10st 13, I now feel I am eating a lot healthier and keeping track of all the foods I eat is a blessing, however I was wondering if anybody has some spare time if they could take a peek at my diary & see if there is anything I could tweak in my daily food intake. I know I am nowhere near eating back my calories but I am so full most days I cant even beare to look at food let alone eat a mouthful more.
I work 8-4 (mon-fri) so my main meals are evening meals, I shop on a budget & am quite a picky eater. Its just that sometimes I feel 'ok' & other times I dont feel 'fat' but feel heavy & chunky & wondered if what I am eating is making me feel like this.
My exercise consists of walking daily & zumba 2 & just dance 3 & I use weights (at home) to help tone my arms & thighs. I am trying to cut down on the excerise & only do 1 type of cardio + the weights each day, as opposed to the two I was doing.
Is there anything I could/should change?

Thank you all in advance, without this site I would truly be lost :)

  • I looked at a few of your days. Are you a vegitarian? If so you need to find a good source of protein, if not try adding some chicken. Also you need to make sure you are drinking plenty of water. It goes a long way. I am not much of a morning eater myself, but you should try to eat more in the morning. Are you bringing a morning and afternoon snack to work, it may help you reach your calorie goals. Try adding whole grains and pastas if you want to get your calls up, with your current level of exercise you should be eating more. Hope this helps!

Thank you :) nope I am not a vegetarian. I have recently started to eat brown rice (although I am not a big rice lover) & eating more eggs (omelettes) to add protein as I wanted to cut down on my carb intake. I drink a 75cl bottle of water at work & 2/3 more each day at home when exercising.
I have 2 15 minute breaks at work plus 30 mins for lunch so I take in a special K bar for lunch as I find the time flies to fast to eat anything more. My breakfast bar I eat at 6.30am, other than that it is relying on a healthy meal when I get home around 4.30pm ish.
The morning & lunch food is hard for me as I never before have eaten breakfast or lunch but trying to get more into the habit of this & have suceeded doing this so far.
Pasta I just cant stomach, its 1 of the foods I really wish I could eat but I cant.
