Ok, Why? Do people keep writing"Bump"? I am clueless about this. Please illuminate.

I think it has something to do with ensuring that the topic is kept at the top of the forum list...but again, not sure.0

It's done to get a forum thread back to the top of the list.
For example, if someone posted but hasn't had a reply back, it disappears down the list..on to the next page of threads. By bumping it, it takes it back to the top so people are most likely to see it.0 -
HauteP1nk - correct, it 'bumps' the subject up the list..0

When they say Bump...it means that if you write something to a topic it bumps it back to the top of the forums so its right in front of people again. When a topic gets 5 or so pages deep its tends to get over looked so from time to time people will bump it back to page 1. Some forums say its against the rules to bump but I have not read that anywhere here according to the rules. However people will get kind of mad if someone does bump too often.0

Sometimes I use bump so it will be saved in my list of topics so I can go back and read later.0

Ok. Thank you! Sometime I do lose a topic I want to keep following. I may use this myself now.0
