Protein question

Do any of you find yourselves going over on the protein quota? I feel like I don't eat a lot of meats, but I consistently go over on protein. Yes, I am aware that foods other than meats have protein... it just seems like I shouldn't be going over, especially considering my lower intake of meats. What are your experiences??

MFP sets the protein percentage very low, so many people change it. Personally, I changed my settings to 40% carbs, 30% protein, 30% fat, which works well for me.

I go over, too. I figure it's just a guide. I am more concerned with calories, fat, and sugar.

This happens to a lot of people. When you start cutting down on carbs (breads, sugars) and fats, you usually end up eating more protein. I don't think this is a problem while you are losing weight because it's only temporary.
