It sucks getting older, but I went ahead and reinvented myself. One thing I still need to get used to, or adapt to, is the fact that my body has changed a great deal over the last few years.
I was so fit in my forties, I know I can be just as fit in my fifties. Probably just in a different way.
As I adjust to all the new changes, like where I live, with whom I live, different climate, friends, job, traffic, house....and the fact that as you reach your fifties, other things you were used to, just don't work the same or look the same anymore, I bet I can adapt to this new (older) body too. Like anything else, it just takes work.
Good luck to all who are doing the same, any revelations, pointers, and suggestions, are all welcome.
