pizza biscuits...not sure if there is one like this...
oh my goodness. ive been wanting pizza but dont want to spend the money so i whipped this up with ingredients i had and it was awesome.
1 package market pantry jumbo buttermilk biscuits
spaghetti sauce (i didnt have pizza sauce)
part skim moz. cheese
pinch of garlic powder
I cooked the biscuits as directed. took them out and split them open. i added a spoonful of sauce to each half a biscuit, and sprinkle of garlic powder, and topped with a little bit of cheese. (i had no other pizza toppings on hand)
stuck it back in the oven on broil for a few minutes until cheese was melted and starting to brown.
**note: the biscuits will brown a bit more in the broiler so you may want to under cook them a bit if you dont like them too dark.
each half a biscuit is 150 calories, so i had two
not sure if there is already a recipe like this on here but just wanted to share cause it was really good
enjoy

I've been making mine with tortilla / flat bread / cutting open a pita shell, get the pizza taste without all the grease from the ordered in versions.
Nice adaptation thoughSomething similar based on hamburger buns was a huge treat growing up.
