Hurt my back at the gym yesterday :-(

Yesterday was my 3rd workout back to the gym in a month. I fell at the start of Dec and hurt my shoulder, and then I got sick with pneumonia, and it took me forever to bounce back. I have been going to circuit training since October and have made great strides since I started. I have trimmed down a ton and gained a lot of muscle.
30 minutes into the 60 minute circuit training, we were doing a Partner Swing Pass with the med ball. It went to far, I reached to far to catch it, and when I went to swing it back to her, OUT my back went. I had to leave early and just lie FLAT on my back int he corner of the class until the pain subsided enough that I could walk to my car.... And then I had the pleasure of driving home, which nearly killed me. Husband had some Vicodin leftover from Lasik a few weeks back and it didn't even take the edge off.
I am icing my back frequently, and alternating a hot Epsom Salt bath with icings, using Toprics muscle rub, and taking Advil. I am SO upset. There is nothing worse than getting hurt when you are working out. Especially your back, the Grand Central Station of your body. gah! I just want to cry!

Harmony,
I'm very sorry to hear about your injury It's the hardest thing when you injure yourself while working out. I hope you get in to see a doc to see if there is anything they can do to alleviate the pain. Do you know if that's the same injury from the past or a new one? Stay strong...0
