i think you're probably better off keeping up with your 5 a day as long as you're not eating other sugars, the nutrients in the fruits at least balance out the sugars it's tough when you don't like veggies, but the more you expose yourself to different kinds of foods the more likely you are to start liking them... keep trying different vegetables different ways as they are an even better choice for you0

The vitamins are definitely more important than the sugars, keep eating them they're all natural sugars rather than processed so I really wouldn't worry!0

Sugar limits are put in place for added sugars, syrups whatever. They are generally not intended for " natural" sugars but, some people see sugar as sugar and needs to be watched either ways. It depends on how you see it. I see all sugars as the same and try to keep an eye on my fruit intake and it was really hard in the beginning. What helped me was watching what fruits I ate. Thing like grapes and bananas are high in sugars so I stick more to berries and like you have cut out other added sugars. If you go over once in a while though I see no problem., I do every so often and it has not really hindered my weight loss.0

If it's coming from fruit I wouldn't be too concerned unless you have a medical condition that would require you to monitor it.0

I heard (although don't know for sure if this is true) that the 5 a day should really only consist of 1-2 fruits and the rest veg. And apparently juice should be kept to a minimum as it's basically a massive sugar hit - apparently you're better off having the actual whole fruit rather than a glass of its juice.0

i thought the same too, but its not affecting my body in a negative way... the sugars are not as simple as the sugar you would put in your tea.
Besides, you look great0 -
I have this problem too. I eat two oranges and a banana every day. I don't eat sweets but certain things have small amounts of sugar too. I go over my sugar every single day. When orange season slows down, so will my sugar. lol But oranges are my favorite food and as long as their in the store, I'll continue to eat two a day.
Today I wanted to make a little smoothie of lite chocolate Silk and a banana, and that one small shake alone would have made me go over my sugar. I think it's a low number, in my opinion. But as long as my sugar is coming from fruit I just ignore it.0 -

I have heard that too, that whole fruit is better.
I try to eat both... if i wanted to get more defined then i would, cut all fruits and stick to veg only.0
