How do you stay motivated to stick to your weight loss plan? This includes motivation for exercise, not just eating right! bigsmile
My best tip: Say, "No" to any food or snack you know will lead to overshooting your daily goal if it is something easily available - like you can buy it at the grocery store, or it is a staple at a local food joint/restaurant, or something your spouse or friend makes frequently. You can have this type of thing anytime, and can actually plan for it so it doesn't sabotage your efforts. Save your splurge for the unexpected and not easily obtainable, like the special baked good a friend has made that you know is terrific. Then try to be reasonable about the amount. flowerforyou

I'm still relatively new to all this lifestyle change business, but what's worked for me on some nights so far is my new pinterest board. (For those who aren't familiar, it's a website that allows you to pin things you like from around the web). I have a "fitspiration" board, which is NOT to be confused with a "thinspo" type of thing. I try to focus on athletes I admire or on people who've attained weight loss success through honest hard work. Whenever I find myself making excuses to miss a workout, I'll hop on to remind myself why I'm doing this. I love that it's completely visual. A quick skim and I'm quickly reminded of why I need to get off my *kitten*.0
