Soreness Addiction

Anyone else addicted to soreness?
At the beginning, when one starts working out, the first week is probably hell because of soreness. In many cases and depending on how long the person has been inactive and how intense the workout is during the first days (week), soreness can be so intense that even moving around in our daily activities seems to be a torture. It happened to me with P90X.
Now, 5 weeks after, I find myself pushing as hard as I can so every week I feel sore from my previous workout. The level, of course, is not even close to my first week, but I kind of get disappointed when I don't feel sore a day after an intense workout.
Call me crazy, but I'm addicted to soreness

Yeah, I love the soreness because it lets me know that I am improving. It's a shame that as you work out consecutively for a while, you stop becoming sore even when your body is being pushed.0

I feel sad when i dont get it, because I dont think I'm doing as much then, but if i have been doing the same for a while
It just means I have to change it up0 -

I wonder if it has to do with endorphins0
