hey all, ive been on a diet now for exactly 2 weeks, ive gone from 300lb to 286lb in that time

ive cut my calories down from god knows what to 1500 , adding in approx 35-45 of walking / joging ( hard to jog with a dog... lol ) i walk at a constant pace ...exept when im pulled into a random bush by said dog,

my question is, i have not gone over my calorie limit at all , thats before counting in the exorcise, and most days im quite a bit under the limit, I know that the body requires a certain amount of calories per day based on your current weight height ectra, but I havent really felt hungry,

before i started my diet I never ate breckfast...at all..not ever.. but now I am , its only weetabix but eh,, im having a decent lunch, and a well balanced meal...still trying to get over the gag reflex caused by cauliflower, , i usually have breckfast at jsut gone 9 am when i get to work, a snack approx 11:30 . lunch at maybe 1:30 - 2 . snack around 4 ish and dinner around 6, i also have a snack around 9 pm. these times vary sometimes but thats to give you an idea,

my snacks usually cosnist of a peice of fruit, go ahead sultana & apple things, youghurt or 2 bbq flavour rice cakes ( 40 cals each,)

my daily limit is 1500 cals but my average calorific intake from food is about 1250, ( not including any extras from excersize ) should I make myself eat more calories so I dont go into starvation mode or whatever its called?. I dont feel ill or weak or overly tiered or overbareingly hungry, im also taking A-Z vitimin suppliments each day too,

i'm not an expert when it comes to how many calories we need to eat based on the ones we burn from execising, so i can't answer that question for you!! however, i feel like 1500 calories is probably way under what you should be eating!! last night, my sister told me that i wasn't eating enough calories and i'm eating 1200 a day, currently 150lbs. so i was thinking of upping mine to about 1500/day.
i guess it's harder to maintain the weight loss the less amount of calories you eat, because realistically no one is going to track their food every day for the rest of their life!! so my sis suggested i up calories so that i don't gain the weight back once i get to my goal. stil something i'm looking into, but i would encourage you to look into this as well because you need to make sure you're giving your body the energy it needs!!
from the sounds of it, you're making some really healthy food choices so keep up the good work :)
