With my hours at work the only time I get to exercise is around 7-8pm. Is it better to workout in AM or PM?

Do not know what you mean by BUMP0
-
"BUMP to bring up somebody's post typically by posting the word "bump" on a message board "
Anyways, Ive read that it really doesn't matter when you work out, as long as you do it.0 -

Exercising at night works for me because right after I do I'm tired and go to sleep easily.0

I know I personally have way more energy and get a better workout at night. I struggle to push through and don't have as much to give in the mornings....0

Nothing wrong with exercising at night. As others said, the important thing is you're exercising.0

I have to be up at 5:45am to get to work as it is, so i exercise in the evening. On weekends, whenever.0

I work out at 1am after work........0

I agree!0 -
Do when your schedule best allows, but yes, mornings are best, because intense exercise might keep you awake.0

I think morning works better because usually after I work out i have more energy and can also eat a big breakfast. When I work out in the evening I'll have more energy but will also want to eat...and then sleep. I'm not a fan of sleeping on a full stomach.
I think choose what feels best. :-)0 -
Night time is my time.............0

I workout at night just because I have no time during the day, it helps me to sleep and also makes me feel so much more happier and energetic the next morning0
-
Morning workouts help me stay on track all day with eating---
Also if I wait till later to exercise I can easily talk myself out of not exercising.0 -
I workout morning and night most of the time... I sleep better too0
-
I don't know if it really matters.
I know some people say they can't sleep after they've exercised though.0 -
It doesn't matter what time of day you work out. Whenever you want to and feel is best for your schedule is all that matters.
Sometimes i work out in the afternoon and sometimes at night, it just depends.0 -
It doesn't matter - you should work out when it works for you. Many people find that AM workouts work better for them, but not everyone does (and not everyone has the same schedule! My husband usually works out around 8AM - but since he's third shift, that's right after he gets home from work -- so to his body, that's like 6 PM.)
If you find that late workouts make it tough for you to sleep, then you can try to make some changes. But if it works okay for you, then that's what you should stick to!0 -
I mostly work out at night during the week, mornings on the weekends and my days off, sometimes I work out 2 times a day when I'm off, depending on how I feel!0
