Exercise Meal-Before or After

I have a quick question, when is the best time to eat a meal? Before exercising or after exercising? What are some things you eat post workout?

I am going to Zumba on M,T,TH, but the class doesn't start until 7 and isn't over until 8. I won't be getting home until around 9 and didn't think that was a good time to eat.

    You can eat right up until you go to bed if you like, it's all about calories in vs. calories out. I personally eat both before and after workouts; a small snack before such as a banana or a handful of almonds, and I eat more of a full meal after.

    You need to be nourished before a hard workout, but I would not recommend eating a normal sized meal before....Have a snack, like a banana and/or greek yogurt before, and eat afterwards....Otherwise you might lose the food during, :embarassed: or just feel really crappy exercising on a full stomach....

    Eat whenever you like. Having something right before working out is probably not the best idea though I've found :tongue:
