Different Calorie Goal set by me- Is it right?

So I went to a TDEE calculator and it calculated that my maintenance is 2430 calories. (http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculators/tdee-calculator.html) I also set my activity level to heavy exercise because I do go to the gym and exercise vigorously 6-7 days in a week.
To find my calorie goal to lose weight, I subtracted 1000 from my maintenance- resulting in 1430. This is now my calorie goal.
Is this another way to properly and effectively use MFP? I do eat my work out calories back but sometimes I think I'm overeating because when I first started with MFP- my calorie goal was 1200 which I am now boosting up to 1430 because of my TDEE
