Hello.
I have set a new goal, as I don't think I'll be ready or medically cleared by my doctor this year to climb the 802 steps of the Calgary Tower, (about 40 floors with 20 steps per floor) do be ready to do it in 2013.
Last week I climbed up the 5 floors where I work 3.8 times (19 flights) and walked down again. My legs were so sore after I have not attempted it again all last week.
My fitness numbers the last two months have been in the tank, but I would like to be able to climb the tower next year.
I'm about 290lbs now, and built for distance walking and sitting.
Any training suggestions will be helpful.
