Re: Pants Sizes

Hi folks,
I recently decided to measure my waist and determine an appropriate pants size.
Initially, I started around 42x32. Recently, I've been able to wear 38x32 comfortably.
However, when I measure my waist, I get a measurement around 40. Is it that I'm so incredibly ----ing obese that I've stretched the seam of the pants, or am I measuring the wrong areas, or is the sizing of the pants just off? The pants I'm wearing are from GAP and a standard fit.
Quite frustrating, especially when I'm trying to find an honest result. Any advice is appreciated.
