So now that I'm finally get some pounds off, I have a new dilemna.....working out after a 12 hour night shift and being up for almost 24 hours. At my job, we do swing shift where we alternate between days and nights. For example, this past week was considered my "hell" week. Work 3 days 6AM-6PM, have one day off, then work 3 nights 6PM-6AM. I am currently finishing my last night shift and am cotemplating going home and forcing myself to stay awake for a couple reasons. 1. I have stuff to do around the house and errands to run that can only be done during normal "business hours" and 2. I have to get my body ready for day shift again in 3 days. Would it be ok, as long as I drink plenty of water, to workout as well? I'm thinking of just doing some light jogging.
