I tend to not pay attention to my sugar from my fruit. If my sugar is over but its because of fresh fruit I don't worry. I was horrible at paying attention to my carbs, but I am starting fresh. Do you treat your carbs the same way? Not worry about them if you know they are "good carbs"

    Generally speaking...

There really is no such thing as good carbs and bad carbs... labeling foods as good or bad is largely a marketing ploy to get people thinking a certain way (either about eating healthy in general, or to favor one product over another).

Good carbs are the ones that fit into your daily calorie/macro goals. Bad carbs are ones that don't.

    The nitty gritty....

There are times/circumstances where it is necessary to watch the type of carb your are consuming. Some carbs are absorbed and burned off much faster than others, which can be important to athletes looking for energy sources... Health concerns like diabetes can make it necessary to watch carbs/sugars, etc.

How many carbs do you have to have a day? MFP set mine to like 190 or something to lose 2 pounds a week. I lowered it to 172. They also had my fat at 40. I lowered it to 28. Will I lose weight at that?

For the 30th I plan to have 187carbs, though...

For one and half pounds a week my carbs are set at 172 I always go over. But I am just wondering if you go over with veggies and things like that if I shouldn't be too concerned.
