Moms - Nursing and dietary restrictions

Hello all,

Any moms out there who are currently nursing or have in the past and ran into a lot of restrictions with certain foods your baby could tolerate?

Ugh, it's been a rough road for my poor 3 month old figuring out what exactly has been upsetting his poor tummy. Turns out after lots of trial and error and consultations with the doc and a lactation consultant, looks like he is sensitive to raw fruits and veggies, as well as dairy.

This REALLY restricts what I can eat! I feel so "unhealthy" without my daily does of fruits, veggies, cheese and a nice glass of cold skim milk. It seems the worse I eat, the better he feels. Good for him, bad for me. :( The other day I tried a watered down glass of orange juice - big mistake! My poor baby suffered big time, won't be doing that again.

Just wondering if any moms out there experienced this and what types of foods you ate as supplements. I miss my healthy snacks and have never been a fan of the "meat and potato" diet but that's what works for him.
