Ladies, I Need Help Finding Slacks with Smaller Waist

I'm hoping others have solved this problem already and can pass on tips. As I close in on my goal weight, my waist has shrunk faster than other body parts. I've worn misses sizes for a long time, but I've found the waist sizes on misses clothing are consistently 2-3 inches too loose now. I recently bought a pair of junior size pants that fit, but I haven't seen charts that indicate the junior sizes actually have smaller waist sizes. Do they? Has anyone identified certain brands of clothing in misses or junior sizes that have smaller waists? I would appreciate some help in my research, so I don't have to spend an excessive amount of time trying on clothes. Thanks!

I've always had an abnormally(?) smaller waist than my hips even at my heaviest weight...sorry, my only solution is to try on lots of different brands, lots of different styles. I am liking Levis right now...0
