I'm not a marathon runner (maybe someday) but do enjoy running and live in Michigan and man it is cold today. I froze my hands and wandering from others who run good cold clothing for running.

It was 29 degrees this morning. I found that a long sleeve technical shirt under a cotton t-shirt, a skull cap and shorts is what I prefer to run in when it gets chilly. I'm only cold for the minute or two until my body starts cranking out heat.
Visit a local running store... those guys would be more than happy to show you different things to keep you comfortable on your runs.0 -
use layers. i wear a helly hanson merino wool baselayer and then a windproof gillet. Thermal gloves and beanie hat to protect my extremities.0
