I read them. I was just still cringing from the thought of rubbing foil soaked Coke on chrome. *shudder*

I am not sure all of these are true. Where did you get this from? I try to follow all medical and health related topics and the breast cancer one I have never heard. I wish it were true. No worries I just drinking diet coke and have drank over 80 ounces of water today!

Ttombs!! This is the first time I've read anything of your post and wow you posted quite a gem. Thank you I already only drink water and this will keep me motivated to drink more and I'm sure it will motivate others to drink more also. I've heard about coke making things disappear if you leave it overnight. Thanks again for sharing your post with us. Post more. Looking forward to it. I'm bookmarkign this as one of my favs and sure to bump it up once in awhile to make sure others read it.:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

Wow, lots of random quirky information with no references. Interesting I guess. Yes, soda is acidic with a pH of about 3-4. And stomach acid has a pH of 1-2. So you're actually decreasing the acidity of your stomach when you drink a soda.

And the one about breast cancer---that needs a reference. It's not even funny to pass such serious information around without proof.

I checked it out on snoops, and yes many are myths. I wish some were true. Can you imagine if you could decrease your risk of breast cancer by 79% by drinking more water! I know breast feeding can decrease your risk of breast cancer but even that isn't 79%.

This sort of reminds me of a little snippet I found online where a woman was going around asking people to sign a petition to ban dihydrogen monoxide. It's found in lakes, reservoirs, tap water. Rinsing your dishes only makes it worse. You can't avoid consuming it because they put it in everything.

TONS of people signed it. I mean, hundreds. They didn't even know what it was.

    Dihydrogen monoxide = H2O

That's when you sign under a different name so you don't look apathetic, but if it turns out to be a bad idea you don't look silly for signing it either!

Okay, let me repeat myself!!! I got an e-mail, thought it was interesting so I posted it. It doesn't matter to me what you drink, you are all adults. If you don't like what people post, then don't read it. I read everybody else's, some I agree with, some I don't. Don't worry, be happy.
