Hi, I lost 6 lbs in one week!!! I'm really proud of myself, and am wondering if I should lower my caloric intake now, with my new weight... Please help me decide!

MFP will give you a warning when it thinks it's time for you to lower your base calories. When I first started in April, my base calories were 1830, after I lost 50 pounds they were all the way down to 1510 (with stops at 1760, 1710 and 1630 along the way). I think MFP issued the warning to adjust calories after every ten pounds.
I wouldn't worry about it yet. See how the loss goes for another few weeks and then think about making adjustments. One week is too soon to cut your calories again.
For me, MFP calorie suggestions were way to low at 1510 calories a day. Theoretically, that should have caused a half pound a week weight loss, but I ended up losing 10 pounds in 4 weeks. I actually went in and manually increased my calories to a more realistic number.0 -
