Having a Hard Time

I'm having a really hard time right now. Dealing with me, my job, my financial situation, people, and most of all - my weight loss.
Weight is something that has always been a very sensitive subject for me. I grew up in a house with my Grandma constantly over my head about my weight. She put me on diet pills at 12 (which later turned out to be Phen Phen and I now have a minorly damaged heart valve due to it), wrapping packaging tape around my body to show me what a "normal" person lookes like, and constantly patting my stomach and asking when my baby was due. Kepp in mind, when this all happened, it was at various ages when I was very active with activites and constantly on the go! Cheerleading, dance, theatre, dance, marching band, drumline, etc. I was not heavy, nor did I look pregnant!
I find it hard to come on here, and have people help you, but it almost feel like they are nagging at the same time! It is important to me to lose this weight, but I cannot let it consume my life. I feel like I get yelled at for posting what I eat, and doing what I do. At the point that somebody becomes less than important due to calroies or working out, I feel that I have reached rock bottom.
Add that to the rest of my everyday life, and maybe it is the stress I am under that is causing me to not lose weight. I realize that I made the choice to sign-up, but just wish that some people would be better about it - and not jsut on here, but in my real life as well. :brokenheart: :sad:

I wish I had something better to say, but I don't other than I am sorry . I know it is a hard time right now. But lose weight for YOU not because someone else thinks you should and wants to dictate what you eat! I have the same problem, worrying about what everyone thinks. We need to worry about ourselves. I am an emotional eater, so since I have been so stressed out, I have been eating like crap. I accept that. But then I feel more like crap about gaining weight! We can only do so much at one time. You may be at your limit. Eat what feels right to you. Exercise when it feels right to you. You can do this - all of it!! :happy:0

Just remember that there are a lot of people on MFP who also receive little to no encouragement in real life, and it sounds like you need encouragement at this point. I'm not sure if you're referring to forum posts or your MFP friends here, but you could try communicating through your news feed instead, and deleting those you don't feel comfortable with. I usually like private messaging select friends, which is another option. Just stay on the site; it will help you get where you want to be. Best of luck0
