30 day shred kicked my butt!

Oh my, what a workout in 20 minutes! I am not a big fan on Jillian Michaels however I do like the exercises on this DVD.
I really like the 3 minutes strength, 2 minutes cardio and 1 minute ab circuit training. It's nice to have an all body workout. I can feel it today!

    I started her 30 Day Slimdown workout routine...and completed day 2 yesterday...and man my arms are FEELING IT...

  • I love 30 day shred! I started it a few weeks ago, and did about 2 weeks and I could definitely feel a difference. My friend borrowed the dvd, and I got off track.. starting over again today!

    30DS was my first Jillian DVD - loved it, love the 3, 2, 1 program (which she also uses in Ripped In 30), and love how hard you can work in just 20 minutes. I think I now have 7 of her DVDs, and can't wait for her new kickboxing workout coming out March 6th!

    Day 2 here :smile: Arms and chest area definately sore!!

    I started on Saturday, and will be taking Sunday's off..............

    I need to get some measurements and/or before pics!

    Taking measurements and pics is a great idea! I wish I had done both before I started it. But with the 30DS and then adding Banish Fat Boost Metabolism, and lost my first 12lbs a couple of years ago, dropped a pants size and completely changed my shape. First I went out and bought the same jeans in a smaller size, but they still didn't fit right - my shape was different so I had to shop around for a new brand of jeans. :happy:

    My ticker says I've lost 12lbs, that's the most recent loss since joining MFP, but over the past couple of years I've lost a total of about 20lbs with Jillian's workouts & watching my foods (slacked off a few times and weight went up a bit - it's a process for me!).

    Thank you all for your feedback! I read so many posts on the 30 day shred and I am glad I got it.
    I also do Zumba DVDs and the Elliptical but I needed to kick it up a notch and the 30DS did it.

    Are all her DVDs as good? :-)

    I love it too - L3D1 tomorrow, for the fourth time! I've bought ripped in 30 and killer buns and thighs (boxset from Amazon UK) to do after this round. Not sure which I shall start with though :)

    Depends on what you like. I own 7 of her workouts, I rotate through 4 of them pretty regularly - Ripped In 30, 6 Week Six-Pack, Killer Buns & Thighs (emphasis on KILLER for sure! :laugh: ), and Banish Fat Boost Metabolism. I also have her Yoga Meltdown and Shred It With Weights, which some members here say they absolutely love, but for whatever reason they are my least favorites. My issue with Shred It With Weights may be that it's designed for kettle bells, which I don't own, but can also be done with regular dumbbells.

    Oh, and I still have 30DS, but loaned it to my mom. I don't think she's tried it yet. :tongue: I would like to get No More Trouble Zones one of these days, and can't wait for the new kickboxing workout in March!

    I started today and man what a workout!! My body is feeling it! It was hard to put makeup on this morning because my arms were too sore to lift them lol. I plan on doing it 3 days a week and 3 days a week of Leslie Sansone's Walking Away the Pounds (love that video). Can't wait to start seeing some real results. I took my measurements and before pics already. Good luck to everyone just getting started with it and currently doing it!
