Digestion issues

I guess it's been about a month since I started working on my new lifestyle. I have a questions though: I'm up all night with my stomach making noise. It's a lot of rumbling and making noises and sometimes I feel like I might have to bm but I don't. I mean it's all night, really loud. I'm not eating at night, like I have in the past. I usually eat around 7 and then go to bed about 9, sleep about 11-4 (baby) and then 430-530 or 6. Has anyone experienced anything like this before? I would call it a higher performing digestion. Has anyone gone through a change with their new lifestyle regarding digestion?

My stomach grumbles and makes weird noises all the time... and VERY loudly!!! My husband thinks it has it's own language! I think it's all because of the diet changes, and eating so many more veggies!!!

Gastridous. Justs gas on your stomach. Try mint tea it helped me a little.:ohwell: :ohwell: I had a several tests done and I am okay. Just gas starts around 9 and can go all night long at times. If you are eatting healthy fresh fruits and veggies it will happen. You could try beano.

If you have increased your fiber (in the form of more fruits and veggies and whole grains) then your body could simply be adjusting. You don't mention being gassy or having diarrhea. You may have increased too suddenly for your tummy's happiness and it's just complaining a little. If complaining is all it's doing, keep on with your new changes and it will get used to it.

A few years ago, I made a sudden transition from a standard American diet to a vegan diet and my tummy, while mostly happy, did complain and grumble noisily and by making me much gassier than I had ever been before. :embarassed: But my body adjusted and now I'm better than ever with no stomach pains like before going vegan (hmmm...lactose intolerance that I never realized until then) and gassiness is no longer an issue.
