Is it time for a Friday night glass of wine yet? Not that I really need permission, but just thought I'd check with the guru for this sort of thing...

Well, then I am in a predicament, I can't reach my wine bottle if I remain seated. I am sure she would want me to proceed first, and THEN be seated, so I will return after a generous pour.

Does your hospital do the fancy dinner thing? When I had my kids, we got a champagne dinner with lobster the night before we were released, but it was a looong time ago. It was a teeny bottle of champagne, but since I hadn't had any alcohol for so long and I HAD taken a darvocet, the bubbly went right to my head!

With my son, I had a celebratory brunch the day we left! Choice of breakfast and it came with the little bottle of champagne too! LOL! It's pretty nice! I am going to the same hospital. :glasses:

It was down in Southern California. My kids are 2 1/2 years apart and they remodeled the hospital during that time, so the 2nd time I was there it was like a resort! It was pretty funny, though, there were marks in the ceiling from everyone's corks.

At my first official prenatal this time around, they were looking at my history for the last "delivery" and she says.."Soooo, you had a c-section last time?",,,,, I said "yup"............and she said "Anddd you only got to 3cm dilated after 12 hours of being induced and 5 days late??"................and I said "Uh-huh!"

And she said "We're going to "suggest" another c-section. This time planned at 39 weeks!"

I said :drinker: :drinker: Sounds great to me!!!!

There, there, dear. If you'd like it to count for something...sure, it does.

I'd have been seriously disappointed, especially the 2nd time around when I knew I was supposed to get a good din-din!

My husband was just happy to take home the free drugs & the extra diapers! And that was at the GOOD hospital in this area! Geesh! I was so miserable with my second son at a different hospital that I spent 9 months trying to convince DH that I could give birth a) at home b) at a birthing center or c) in the front yard. He didn't like any of those choices so I ended up at the crappy hospital again. Stupid insurance.
