I've just turned 31 and, like many people, am finding it more difficult to lose weight the older I get. A lot of the gain has been just in the past year and I'm just unhappy with me. I started the new year with a goal, joined a gym (and yes, I go), watch what I eat, but haven't made huge adjustments and have seen almost no change in a month. My sister, who is also my number one weight loss buddy, suggested tracking my food intake and that maybe I'm not getting enough calories. I noticed in another post that someone asked where the 1200 calorie goal came from. And like her, the program gave it to me based on height, weight, age, etc. Anyway, we'll see if tracking makes a difference, but I'm glad to have found this community and look forward to finally shedding a few pounds and getting back to being me.
