Do you ever get frustrated because things are moving too slowly in your life? Many people don't realize that building a foundation for success does not happen overnight. It is a slow process in which you are constantly working and learning. After all, that foundation must remain strong, even in times of failure or crisis. This takes time! You may have to remind yourself that "failing" is only failure if you quit; otherwise it's a learning opportunity. So don't worry if your life seems to be moving in slow motion. Concentrate on building a solid foundation and learning from your back steps.

You know what? I really needed to hear that this morning. Thank you so much for your inspirational words! I'm taking them to heart
  • I agree.

I read that when you decide to do something, like get fit & lose weight, the universe sometimes sends you obstacles, basically to see how serious you are or like you were saying to make sure your foundation really is solid.

Like in my case I went on a skiing holiday in February and hurt my knee on the first day of ski school and it's not totally healed yet. I thought it would be a way of getting more exercise in and it turns out I can't do much exercise now until this heals fully.

I could have caved and said to heck with this show me the cookies, candy and wine.
But getting fit is something I really want and if my progress is slow, so be it. Like you said: I'm not giving up!
