I've been put on Trinessa a few months ago, and I feel like my weight will never drop past a certain point... I've also read bad things about Trinessa, but I can change it... not until I need a new dosage since I don't have medical insurance... \:

Anyone else on Trinessa and losing weight? or gaining muscles?

I was on Giavna but reacted badly to it, now I'm on mono-nessa and I haven't had any problems. Ask your doc

I have been on birthcontrol for years- I started with orthotyclin lo- it was great for years then it went crazy, Made me have horrible mood swings emotions were crazy I gained weight. so i switched to another kind but it made me have crazy acne like very very bad! so i got off of that and now i am on mo nessa- I havent really noticed a huge weight change with mo nessa but ive only been on it for a few months--- i feel like i cant drop past my current weight because of it as well. but im not really completely sure if that is true or not llol i am in the process of trying to figure it out! :) Best wishes.

Thanks guys... I'm not even totally sure what I was on before but it was PERFECT. Nothing went wrong with me. Whereas on this one I've been second guessing it... I hear lots of bad things about Trinessa and some not so bad and some actually good. If I can drop past my certain weight than I have no troubles with it... I'm just worried cause I'm starting Insanity and I don't want it to affect my muscle gain/weight loss journey...

it's still pretty soon - you might want to stick it out for another month, just to see if your hormones re-regulate themselves.

I've switched a few times (all for migraine reasons) and every time I've had the first few months of feeling kind of OFF or having spotting, or bloating, or just something that made me unhappy. but it always seemed to go away. it just takes our bodies a little while to get used to everything!

good luck though, I know it stinks!

Thanks that made me feel better :) I'm just going to schedule an appointment with my doctor just to see if everything is ok :P
