Workout Ideas?

I have been sick on and off since Christmas and the one thing that seems to be clinging the most is a hacking banshee cough whenever I try to use my elliptical. Any ideas on something I could do gently to burn a few extra calories without losing a lung?

    Honestly I am restarting for the umpteenth time so I don't really have a regimen. Since I am pretty much housebound most days I don't have access to any strength training equipment. i am thinking more along the lines of light cardio.

    try something fun like Zumba or Hip Hop Abs.....fun, non stressful and burns!!!
