That was pretty cool. Thanks for sharing.
  • That's really cool.

Note: Do not eat 200 calories worth of Fiber One cereal under any circumstances. Just trust me on this one.

It's cool but I wish everything wasn't listed in grams.

  • I recently saw something similar. :)

One would not want to do that right off the bat when they aren't used to eating much fiber... but I just had about 200 calories worth of fiber one two days in a row, and I'm fine. I generally take in 65+g of fiber daily, though.... someone who has never had their normal amount of fiber is definitely going to be feeling it if they did that! LOL

    30g is roughly one oz.
    Does this help?

How stupid to list calories of such good foods like broccoli and spinach!

Coke, fair enough, but it worrys me that people list so many good foods as "calorie counters"

What burning 200 calories looks like:

    Skipping for 12-15 minutes
    Spinning for 12-15 minutes
    Tae Bo for 17-20 minutes
    Jumping Jacks for 20 minutes
    Swimming for 22-25 minutes
    Resistance Training for 25-30 minutes
    Jogging for 25-30 minutes
Walking (5 mph) for 30-35 minutes

    Dancing for 30-40 minutes
    Pilates for 40 minutes
Washing your car for 40 minutes
    Mowing with a push-mower for 1 hour

I think the point is how much more you can eat of these good foods than the "bad" ones. It makes sense for it to be listed, even healthy food has calories! Do you not count what you consider to be healthy food?
Also how many calories you burn doing anything varies greatly from person to person. I can say it would take a lot more than any of those for me to burn 200 calories.

Very cool to see how much broccoli and peppers you could eat versus a half a takeout sandwich!
