Starvation mode?

I try to watch what I eat a lot, and on certain days when I eat really well, and am still full, it tells me that I am eating too few calories and am going to go into starvation mode.

Does anyone else get this? Did you change? or keep your normal routine?

Thanks!

Eat higher calorie foods if you for some reason can't get to your goal. Peanut butter, nuts, full fat dairy, etc. It's not too hard to add those calories back.
  • I get that too. I tend to ignore it and just eat when I'm hungry. Not sure how right that is to do though as I have only just started also

    MFP can be very dramatic.
18 calories under, and all the sudden you're going into starvation mode. >.>

As long as it's not a daily thing, you probably won't and you'll most likely be find.
That's what everyone says at least.
  • If it's not an everyday thing, no. Eating 1000 a couple of days won't hurt you. Eating below 1200 calories for extended periods of time will.

I get that too, I mostly ignore it. I have days when I eat over my calories so I don't stress about it. I'm sure you'll hear a lot of people not agreeing with that.
