I have just calculated my BMR and it says 1,134 per day. Does this mean this is what I burn per day?

BMR=Basal metabolic rate= what your body needs to sustain vital function at rest- If you stayed in bed all day your body would need this many calories to keep the blood pumping and keep you at your temperature. BMR does not include exertion of any form.0

Ah right I see. MFP has only given me 1200 cals a day to eat and although I don't exercise as I should every day I certainly have an active lifestyle and quite a physical job so I guess I am burning rather a lot. hmmmmm!
Congrats on the weightloss BTW0
