How much protein? EQUATION GIVEN WITHIN!

I'm usually over my protein everyday according to mfp which made me wonder how much I should be taking in...found an article that breaks it down pretty well and I thought I'd share it!

Hopefully it'll help some of you that are wondering...

**To figure out the LEAST amount of protein you need in a day...

Your weight multiplied by .45 = your weight in kg.
Weight in kg multiplied by .8 = protein needed (least amount)

(ex: for a 170 lb female would need at LEAST 61.2 grams of protein per day)

**To figure out what range we should be aiming for you input in how many calories you take in daily.

Total daily calories multiplied by .25
That number dived by 4
Total Daily Calories multiplied by .30
That number divided by 4

(ex: if she consumes 1400 calories a day 87.5 - 105 g of that should be protein)

I found this on a womens site, so I'm thinking the same doesn't apply to men, sry!
