I hear ya! I have done exactly the same thing, its getting hard to keep motivated.
One day at a time I guess, we've gotta keep going!0 -
I had the same thing happen to me this week. I had lost 3 lbs and then when I weighed in on Thursday I had gained 4 back. I was so mad at myself I ended up 'eating my feelings'. And of course that led to feeling even worse. Its hard, but giving up wont get either of us anywhere. Even if you haven't lost the weight just yet, you are doing your body a huge favor by making healthy choices. You will get there! We both will! Please don't give up!0

I will drag myself to the gym tonight and pack my salad for lunch tomorrow at work.
I just feel so down... after a life time of trying to loose weight, im really hoping that this time would be different.
Im hoping it is just fluid retention for some reason or another.
Ehhhhh
Stay strong girls0 -
The scale can’t tell you what you’ve lost or gained, which is important information if you’re trying to lose weight…and by weight, i mean fat.
Here are just a few things that can increase your weight, causing it to fluctuate as much as 10 lbs in one day:
Water..... Because the body is about 60% water, fluctuations in your hydration levels can change the number on a scale. If you’re dehydrated or have eaten too much salt, your body may actually retain water, which can cause scale weight to creep up.
Food..... Weighing yourself after a meal isn’t the best idea simply because food adds weight. When you eat it, your body will add that weight as well. It doesn’t mean you’ve gained weight, it simply means that you’ve added something to your body (something that will be eliminated through digestion over the next several hours).
Muscle.... Muscle is more dense than fat and it takes up less space, so adding muscle could increase your scale weight, even though you’re slimming down.
Keeping track a weekly or monthly basis (not daily) will help you see what you’re losing and/or what you’re gaining.
hope this helps
Not to worry!

Just FYI - I went ot the gym for a good one and a half hours - I feel much better now. Hopefully when I weigh in on Sunday I will be much happier. Im going to try to not jump on the scale until then. Damn me being so results driven0

I weigh myself daily, but I do that because I know if my weight spikes that something I did the day before has thrown my body off. Either too much salt, or not enough water, or my calories in were more than calories out. I only officially call my weight on Sundays. Don't get discouraged over the number on the scale. Focus on NSV like clothes fitting better or loose and having more energy.0
