Calorie Burn of Reps vs. Minutes...possible to compute??

How do I quantify the caloric burn of exercises measured in reps and not minutes? I've been doing squats and crunches all throughout my day and while each set is only a minute or a few minutes it doesn't seem legit to just log it as '2 minutes of calisthenics or cardio'. I've posed this question before with no real answer. How can I get a true measure of what I'm burning?

Get a heart monitor if you can. That is the only way to really know what you are burning.0

I dont believe there is a true way to calculate per rep. Lifting weights or movement excercises get hard to calculate for because not everyone does the whole range of motion or uses different weights or just doesn't put in the same intensity. I rarely calculate my lifting cals, i usually just guess at 60 cals per 20 mins0
